Privacy notice

Short, because we collect very little.

Last updated August 2026

What we collect

  • Your email address, if and only if you give it to us to receive the newsletter.
  • Aggregate, privacy-respecting analytics — page views and referrers, with no cross-site tracking, no advertising pixels, and no attempt to identify you personally.
  • Purchase records, if you buy the book. Payment is handled by a third-party processor; we never see or store your card details.

What we never do

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your data with anyone. We do not run advertising networks. We do not install third-party trackers for pharmaceutical companies, telehealth platforms, or anyone else. We do not build health profiles of readers, and we do not infer or record which medication you may be taking.

This matters more here than on most sites. What you read about your own health is nobody else's business, and it is certainly not an advertising signal.

Your rights

You may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email; your address is deleted, not suppressed. You may ask us what we hold on you, and ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@onthejab.com. If you are a California resident, this includes your rights under the CCPA/CPRA, and we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined.

Children

This site is intended for adults in the United States. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

If this notice changes materially, we will say so on this page with a date, and in the newsletter.
